Fatal Vision

Our Knights of Columbus Council (10243) have purchased  Fatal Vision goggles.   Our hope is to educate as many people possible by allowing them to be used to demonstrate the effects of alcohol.

The eyes are the first organ in the body to be effected by alcohol.  These goggles will demonstrate the difficulties encountered without actually introducing alcohol, as in most prior programs.  The second organ to be effected by alcohol is the frontal lobe of the brain.  Although these goggles will not impair the reasoning and judgment of the participants, which the frontal lobe controls, the people wearing them will clearly learn the degree of visual impairment that each pair demonstrates to their vision.  To learn more about the goggles themselves click on the Fatal Vision web site.

We are offering the use of these goggles to be used by our Northeast Wisconsin organizations.  If you or your group are interested in using these goggles, please contact Dan Barrington.  We will call and provide you with details.  We thank you a head of time for your interest.
