Mission Statement:
We, the people of St. Bernard Catholic Church, are called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to give witness to the life and love of Jesus Christ. We desire to build a community based on forgiveness, caring, reaching out to one another, personal prayer and
sacramental worship.
What is it about the congregation that appeals to new members?
The parish has been blessed with excellent pastors who are great
homilists; worship liturgies enhanced by seasonal decor and music; a very active volunteer ministry; a first-rate school and religion education program; good
support staff; a good mix of families in an above-average socio-economic setting.
Three activities or special events held each year:
St. Bernard Summer BLAST is held in July. An appreciation breakfast is
held in March. The St. Bernard Altar & Rosary Society members stage a Christmas luncheon, auction and boutique at Riverside
Ballroom in November.
